Zeb leads investments in companies redefining key sectors of the economy in the US and Australia. An entrepreneur and venture capitalist since the early 1990s, he has founded or backed dozens of young companies over his 30-year career.
In the 90s, Zeb worked in corporate venture capital at News Corp, focusing on startup and early-stage software investments in Australia, New Zealand, and China. As a co-founder and Managing Partner of Angeleno Group, a clean energy-focused venture capital firm, he lead the firm’s growth to over $500M AUM through multiple IPO and M&A exits.
Zeb holds a BA in Government and Economics from Bowdoin College. He served on the board of The Edmund G. “Pat” Brown Institute for Public Affairs (founded by his grandfather, two term California Governor Pat Brown) and was on the California Finance Committee for the Obama for America 2008 presidential campaign as well as for California Governor Jerry Brown’s 2010 gubernatorial campaign.
