Joanna
Yue

Joanna focuses on sourcing, evaluating and executing new investments, and works closely with portfolio companies post-investment.

Prior to joining King River, she was part of the investment team at OneVentures, investing in growth-stage Australian tech companies tackling mission-critical problems. Before that, Joanna was at McKinsey & Company, where she worked across a variety of industries focused on strategic growth and innovation. She cut her venture teeth building an agritech venture at Wavemaker Impact in Singapore, and during her time at INSEAD, sourced deals for Loyal VC.

Joanna holds a Masters in Management from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from Monash University.

Originally from Melbourne, Joanna has worked and studied in Paris, Singapore, Hong Kong and Beijing. Away from work, she loves being outdoors, whether it’s hiking, running, or playing tennis and golf. She also can’t resist tinkering with AI, and her latest build is a household CRM.
